Professor of Paediatric and Adolescent Psychology
Deborah Christie is a consultant clinical psychologist and professor of paediatric and adolescent psychology at UCL Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust, internationally recognised for its care of young people with chronic illness. Deborah has received a number of awards for her own work, most recently the Quality in Care Best initiative for young people with diabetes. Her research interests include neuropsychological outcomes in children and adolescent survivors of meningitis, and quality of life measures in chronic illness. She is the immediate past-President of the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine and an honorary fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. She is also the co-editor in chief of Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry
