On Wednesday 23 June, the Paymaster General, the Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP attended one of the Inquiry’s hearings on Treloar’s, and heard first hand the experiences of Lee Stay who was a student in the 1980s.
Former Treloar’s students and other Inquiry participants also spoke to the Minister. In a letter to the Inquiry Chair, she writes that what she heard was a powerful reminder of the importance of the Inquiry and the profound impact on people infected and affected.
