Professor of Medicine
Jürgen Rockstroh is a professor of Medicine and Head of the HIV Outpatient Clinic at the University of Bonn which treats the world’s largest cohort of HIV-infected haemophiliacs. From 2007-2011 he was elected president of the German AIDS Society and has sat on the executive committee of the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) since 2009, and the governing council of the International AIDS Society since 2011. In 2019 he became president of EACS. He chairs the hepatitis research activities at the European Aids Treatment Network (NEAT). He won the German national AIDS research prize in 2005.
